GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE CHAIR

First of all apply the parking brake. Do not use the footplates for support.

Swing the armrest backwards and get in or out of the chair sideways or from

the front, as recommended by the technician, occupational therapist or

physiotherapist. Do not get in or out of the chair without the supervision of an

attendant until you learn to do it easily.
