XXV. Network setting
Make the TCP/IP address setting for the network.
Note:
The IP address is assigned automatically by the
DHCP server, when the machine's power is turned
ON. (DHCP setting at the time of factory shipment:
ON)
<To Set Manually>
If the machine’s IP address is not set automatically,
follow the steps below to set it manually.
Note:
Consult the network adminisutrator for the setting
value to be entered and make settings as
required.
1. Press the [Utility/Counter] key.
2. Touch “Admin Settings”.
o
Enter Admin pass-
word.
o
Touch “OK”.
3. Touch “Ethernet”
o
“TCP/IP”
o
“DHCP”
o
“OFF”
o
“OK”.
4. Set the following settings:
(1) Touch “Enable”
o
“ON”
o
“OK”.
(2) Touch “IP Address”.
o
Set it to an IP address
on the network of the machine.
o
Touch “OK”.
(3) Touch “Subnet Mask”.
o
Set the subnet mask.
o
Touch “OK”.
(4) Touch “Gateway”.
o
Set the gateway address.
o
Touch “OK”.
5. Turn OFF the Power Switch, then turn it back ON.
6. Press the [Utility/Counter] key.
7. Touch “User Settings”
o
“Print Settings”
o
Reports”
o
“Configuration Page”
o
“Print”
o
“OK”, to print the settings list page, and verify that
the settings from step 4 have been completed
correctly.
