TIRE ROTATION:
The rear tires will wear unevenly as the
forces placed on them are different. The
Right Rear tire does all the braking and
delivers all the power to the ground.
Replacement tires can be obtained from
the Minimoto Service Center. Email your
request at
WARNING:
Disconnect the battery before
removing the tires. This will ensure no pos-
sibility of the motor or wheel running acci-
dentally while working in this area. Refer
to page 18 steps 1-3 “Replacing the bat-
tery” in this instruction manual for this
operation.
To ensure that your tires last as long as
possible, it is recommended that you
rotate the tires as the tread pattern wears
down. Most likely, the RIGHT REAR tire will
wear heavier than the left (depending on
your driving habits). When the Right Rear
tire appears to show some wear, rotate the
tires between the left and right. This way
you can stretch the useable life of the
tires out over a longer period of time.
1)
Raise the ATV and lay it on its side
(Fig. A)
Make sure that the ATV will not
fall to its side and injure anyone. Use a
work bench if possible.
2)
Open the valve cap on the valve stem
of the tire.
Deflate the tire
by pushing the
valve pin inside
the valve stem.
(Fig. B)
3)
Using the wrench (not provided) and
allen key remove the five bolts and nuts
on the hub of the wheel.
(Fig. C)
4)
Lift and remove the top hub from the
axle. Remove the tire and place aside.
(Fig. D & Fig. E)
5)
Place the new tire (or from another
wheel) onto the bottom hub on the axle.
Reconnect the two hubs with the tire in
between and align the screw holes. Make
sure the valve stem is also inserted to the
hole in the top hub. Tighten the bolt and
nuts in reverse order.
(Fig. F & Fig. G)
6)
Inflate the tire with a foot pump until
30Psi.
7)
Reconnect the battery and ride as nor-
mal.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure the wheel nuts
and bolts are properly tightened before
driving.
