2. Press the UP key or DOWN key until the VOX/Standby menu icon is highlighted.
Then press the key to enter into the sub-menu.
3. Press the UP key or DOWN key until the Standby icon is highlighted. Then, press
the key.
4. Using the UP key or DOWN key, select the option desired between 1min/3min/5min or
OFF to deactivate this feature.
5. Confirm the selection pressing the key.
6. Press the Menu/Back key twice to return to the main screen.
5.2.7.3.2. VOX SETTING
This mode lets you control the sound activation of your baby monitor. If you enable the
VOX mode on the monitor and there is no sound around the camera, the latter will stop
transmitting. However, it will keep picking up the sounds using a minimum amount of power.
The monitor screen will go off if the camera is not transmitting. When the camera detects any
sound higher than the sensitivity setting, it will start transmitting the signal to the monitor again.
To disable this function and see the monitored area continuously, you must disable the
VOX mode on the monitor.
• VOX mode disabled: The camera transmits continuously, allowing it to constantly monitor
your baby or the area you wish to monitor
• VOX mode enabled: The camera only transmits when a sound is detected with sufficient
intensity - depending on the level selected - around the camera.
To activate this function, first of all make sure you have set the standby mode to 1/3 or 5
minutes (see point 5.2.7.3.1). Choose 1/3 or 5 if you want your camera to stop transmitting the
image after 1/3 or 5 minutes if there is no sound around.
Once the standby time is set, to activate VOX mode, please, follow the next instructions:
1. Press for 3 seconds the Menu/Back key and the menu will pop up.
2. Press the UP key or DOWN key until the VOX/Standby menu icon is highlighted.
Then press the key to enter into the sub-menu.
3. Press the UP key or DOWN key until the VOX icon is highlighted. Then, press the key.
4. Press the UP key or DOWN key, select the sensitivity level desired: OFF/1/2/3 (default
OFF). Set sensitivity to “1” for a baby that sleeps peacefully and cries quietly and “3” if the baby
tends to make noise while sleeping or makes fairly loud noises before actually crying, or set it to
“2” level if you consider that your baby’s behavior does not fit either of the two previous patterns.
5. Confirm the selection pressing the key.
6. Press the Menu/Back key twice to return to the main screen.
If you wish to see your baby at a certain time, even if there is no noise about, you can
enable the camera transmission remotely by pressing any button.
5.2.7.4. TRANSMISSION LEVEL
On this menu you can change the power level transmitted by the camera, choosing from
amongst the high/low options. When at the high position (HI), coverage will extend 250
meters in open country with the original power. When at the low position (LOW), the maximum
transmission distance is reduced to around 120 meters in open country as the transmitting
power is reduced.
