1. Measure the amount of rice needed with the measuring cup
provided. Wash the rice in a separate bowl to avoid damage to
inner pot.
2. The maximum capacity for cooking rice is 10 cups of uncooked rice.
3. Put the washed rice into the inner pot and add water as required.
4. The water level may need adjustment depending on the freshness
or quality of the rice. For example, less water is needed for a new
crop of rice; and more water is needed for older rice.
5. Wipe the exterior of the inner pot with a clean cloth before placing
the inner pot in the cooker body. Rotate the inner pot so that it is
sitting evening on the heating element. Make sure that there are no
foreign objects on the bottom surface of the inner pot or on the
heating element of the cooker.
6. Make sure the rice is distributed evenly in the inner pot.
7. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the cooker, then
plug it securely into a household electrical power outlet.
8. Turn on the power supply, to start the cooking process, press down
the power switch and the cook indicator light will be on to indicate
that rice cooking is in progress.
9. When the rice cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the
keep warm function and the warm indicator light will be on. The
cooker will stay in keep warm function until the power supply is
switched off.
10. For best results, leave the lid closed for about 15 more minutes
under keep warm function.
11. Do not keep the cooked rice in the keep warm function for more
than 5 hours. Otherwise, the rice may become hard and dry.
