1 - COM port selection:
Selects which Serial port the computer is using to communicate.

2 - BAUD rate selection:
Selects the speed at which the computer will communicate with the units. This setting must match the BAUD
RATE parameter setting in each of the units to be polled. Use a lower baud rate for reliable transfers over
long distances.

3 – To select 2400 bps
4 – To select 9600 bps
3 - Communication Type:

and for RS-485 communication using the Milltronics RS-232 to RS-485 converter (Milltronics Part

4 - Polling Interval:
This setting determines how often the computer will poll the IR-200 units connected to the network. If the time
interval is set to 15 seconds, for example, and only one unit is being polled, the computer’s display will update
every 15 seconds. If three IR-200 units are being polled, then the computer’s display will be updated every 15
seconds and it will take 45 seconds to cycle through all three units.
Enter the number of seconds between 8 and 120.
5 - Trend Graph span:
The trend graph displays the level of the interface of interest over a user defined time period. The IR200LOG
trend graph can be set independently of the IR-200 unit’s TREND GRAPH parameter to cover a different time
period.
Enter the number of hours between 4 and 24.
6 - Activate Unit address:
This setting allows the operator to enable or disable the polling of up to 40 units individually. The units will still
function, but will not be polled by the computer. The address assigned to the unit within the program, must
match the setting in the units SERIAL ADDRESS parameter.
Enter the unit number between 1 and 40.
7 - Assign unit names:
It is possible to assign an eight character name to each of the units. Select the unit address and then enter a
