Step 3 - Terminal Services Configuration

 

 

3.1 - Configure Server Connection Settings

 

The next step is to configure the settings for remote connections to the server. 

 

Note

: You must complete this step on the server where you have the Millennium database located.

 This step is not 

required if you are not in a Remote Desktop environment

 

 

 

 

 

 

Windows Server 2003

 

1.

 

Access Windows with an administrator account. 

 

2.

 

Press 

Windows Logo

+

R 

or select Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run. 

 

The Run window displays. 

 

3.

 

Type "tscc.msc" in the 

Open 

field and press 

Enter

. 

 

The Terminal Services Configuration screen displays. 

 

4.

 

Double-click the 

RDP-Tcp 

connection. 

 

The RDP-Tcp Properties window displays. 

 

5.

 

Click the Client Settings tab and deselect 

COM port mapping 

(highlighted below).
