Move the throttle lever to idling position.
Run the engine for 3 to 5 minutes at low
speeds to cool it down before stopping.
Move the throttle lever to the stop position to
stop the engine.
In case of a diesel engine, when the engine
stops, the buzzer sounds.(Fig.39)
When the key switch is moved from “ON(Op-
eration)” to “OFF(Stop)”, the buzzer stops.

CAUTION
If the throttle lever is moved from the idling
position to the stop position, the engine revo-
lution decreases. Before the engine stops
completely, do not move the throttle lever sud-
denly to the idling or operation position.
Engine failure might occur.

STOPPING THE MACHINE
Move the throttle lever to idling position.
Run the engine for 3 to 5 minutes at low
speeds to cool it down before stopping.
In case of MVH-308GH/408GH:
Turn the engine switch to the OFF position,
then the engine stops. (Fig. 36)
In case of MVH-508GHS:
Turn the key to "STOP" position. (Fig.37)
Shut the fuel cock.
