7 Instruction Manual
How to use your appliance
. 1 Remove the water tank from the appliance. Fill it only with distilled water and place it
back into the appliance. Make sure it is placed properly and secured in its place. Using
distilled water ensures prolonged life of the heating element. Do not use hot water.
. 2 Plug the appliance into the main outlet.
. 3 Hang the clothes on the provided clothes hanger.
. 4 Switch on the appliance by turning the steam knob according to the fabric you want to
iron. Steam should start flowing from the Nozzle in approximately 45 seconds.
. 5 Grasp the handle, and place the steam nozzle at the bottom of the garment. Steam will
rise along the inside and outside of the fabric, removing wrinkles. Slowly slide the nozzle
vertically, from the bottom to the top of the garment Do not allow kinks to form in the
hose at any time.
Note:
* Curtains and draperies can be steamed while still hanging.
* Heavier fabrics may require repeated steaming.
. 6 The distance between the garment and the nozzle can be decided according to the
thickness and type of garment. Nozzle can be placed on the garment in case of collars
or hard fabrics.
Caution: prolonged nozzle concentration at a single place might result in burning the
fabric in case of silk, synthetic or similar fabrics.
. 7 Use the fabric brush gently while steaming if the clothes are tough.
. 8 Be careful when handling garments on the clothes hanger hook as pulling the garment
with too much force may cause the unit to fall down.
. 9 When you finish, turn the steam knob to the “Off” position and remove the plug from the
outlet.
