This appliance is intended to be used
in the household and similar environ-
ments such as staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working
environments, farm houses, by clients
in hotels, motels, bed and breakfast
type environments, and other residen-
tial environments.
Do not switch your coffee maker “ON”
if it is empty.
To protect from electrical hazard, do
not immerse this appliance, the power
base or the power cord in any liquid.
Use the carafe only with the supplied
base unit. Do not use the base unit for
other purposes.
To protect against fire, do not operate
in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
Do not use the coffee maker for any
purpose other than making drip coffee
or heating water. Other liquids will
contaminate the interior.
This product has not been designed
for any other uses than those specified
in this booklet. •

Do not remove the lid while the water
is boiling.
Ensure that the appliance is switched
OFF before removing the carafe.
Ensure that the coffee maker is always
operated on a level surface.
The coffee maker and its parts must
not be operated with other coffee
maker makes.
Never place the base on a hot surface
or a metal tray.
Keep children well away, ensure that
users are fully aware of the danger of
escaping hot steam and splashing
boiling water.
Never use the appliance if the carafe
shows any signs of cracks. Only use
the carafe supplied with this appliance.
Use carefully as the carafe is fragile.
Should it break, please return to your
authorized service center to
purchase a replacement carafe. •
