Using your appliance
Your contact grill can be used in a number of ways, depending on your needs or
depending on the type of food you wish to grill, cook or simply reheat.
A. Using the grill in a closed position (Panini function)

1 Move the locking latch from the (
) position to unlock the appliance.

2 Plug the appliance into the mains outlet and select the required cooking
temperature using the thermostat knob. The power indicator lamp will illuminate to
indicate that the appliance is working.

3 The ready indicator lamp illuminates when the preheating is done and the desired
temperature is reached.

4 Use the handle to lift the upper plate, place the food on the bottom grill plate and
close the grill by pressing the handle downwards.

5 During operation, the ready indicator light will turn on and off automatically to
maintain the desired temperature.

6 After use, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down before cleaning.
B. Using the grill fully opened (180 Degree)

1 Move the locking latch to the (180 degree) position and pull up the upper cooking
plate of the appliance, then open it to form a 180 degree.

2 Plug the appliance into the mains outlet and select the required cooking
temperature using the thermostat knob. The power indicator lamp will illuminate to
indicate the appliance is working.

3 The ready indicator lamp illuminates when the preheating is done and the desired
temperature is reached.

4 Place the food on the cooking plates.

5 During operation, the ready indicator light will turn on and off automatically to
maintain the desired temperature.

6 After use, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down before cleaning.
Helpful Hints
Take care not to directly contact the cooking plates while the appliance is switched on
as they will be very hot. Leave an adequate distance around the side walls.
In order to prolong the lifetime of the non-stick coating of the grill plates:
* Only use wooden or heat-resistant plastic/ silicone utensils.
* Do not cut food on the non-stick grill plates or use sharp objects for handling food.
Make sure that the foods are cut uniformly in order to ensure optimum results.
The cooking time is variable in relation to the type of food and its size.
