Special Instructions
To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another
high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is
not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of
the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped
over or pulled unintentionally.
Before using your appliance, you must familiarize yourself with the different components
of your appliance. Every number corresponds to one of the components of your
appliance.

Before the first use
Wipe the surface of the fixed plates with a damp cloth or kitchen roll and dry them
well.
When using your appliance for the first time, warm your contact grill without any
food for about 5 minutes. It is possible to see some fumes or a little smell from
excess grease or residues on the internal heating element. This is a one-time
occurrence and it is perfectly normal.
CAUTION: Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food.
All food must be completely defrosted before cooking it in this product.

The cooking plates and metal surfaces of
the appliance become extremely hot when
the appliance is in use. To avoid the risk of
burns, wear heat resistant mitts or gloves.
