6 Instruction Manual

the heating-up light goes out (after approx. 3 minutes). Then fill the basket and

turn the timer knob to the required preparation time.

Ÿ

 The heating-on indicator goes on.

Ÿ

The timer starts counting down the set preparation time.

Ÿ

During the hot air frying process, the heating-up light comes on and goes out

from time to time. This indicates that the heating element is switched on and off

to maintain the set temperature.

Ÿ

Excess oil from the ingredients is collected in the bottom of the pan.

6 Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time (please refer

to the Cooking Settings paragraph). To shake the ingredients, pull the pan out of the

appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the pan back into the air fryer.

Attention: Do not press the basket release button during shaking.

Helpful hints:

Ÿ

To reduce the weight, you can remove the basket from the pan and shake

the basket only. To do so, pull the pan out of the appliance, place it on a heat

resistant surface and press the basket release button.

Ÿ

You can set the timer to the half of the preparation time, so when you hear the

timer bell you have to shake the ingredients and you have to set the timer again

to the remaining preparation time after shaking.

7 When the timer bell rings this means that the set preparation time has ended. So, pull

the pan out of the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Note: You can

also switch off the appliance manually by turning the temperature control knob to the

“0” position, or simply by pulling the pan out of the appliance.

8 Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the

pan back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

9 To remove small ingredients (e.g. fries), press the basket release button and lift the

basket out of the pan. Do not turn the basket upside down with the pan still attached

to it, as any excess oil has been collected on the bottom of the pan will leak onto the

ingredients.

Ÿ

Attention: After air frying, the pan and the ingredients become too hot and

steam may escape from the pan depending on the type of food you are frying.

Ÿ

After frying, the pan and the inside metals became too hot, so avoid touching

them.

10 Empty the basket into a bowl or onto a plate. Tip: to remove large or fragile food, use

a pair of tongs to lift the ingredients out of the basket.

11 When the food is ready, the air fryer instantly becomes ready to prepare your next

batch of food.

Cooking settings

The following table helps you to select the basic settings for the food you want to prepare.

Note: keep in mind that the following cooking times are mere suggestions. As the

ingredients may differ in origin, size, shape as well as brand. So you may choose to follow

them or not, according to your own taste.
