If you only wash at low temperatures over a long period of time, organic deposits
can form in the machine.
By cleaning the inside of the machine, you can reduce the build-up of organic
deposits, fungi and biofilm and prevent the formation of unpleasant odours.
Notes
– The best results can be achieved by using the Original Miele
dishwasher and washing machine cleaner. Otherwise, a
powdered universal detergent can be used.
– The machine cleaner or universal detergent are added to the
detergent dispenser drawer.
– The drum must be empty when running the Maintenance
programme.
Delicates

Curtains, including net curtains, specified as machine-washable by
the manufacturer.
Notes
– Dust in curtains usually makes using a programme with a
pre-wash advisable.
