There is a build-up of
fluff.
Fluff is principally the result
of friction when garments
are being worn and
washed. Machine drying
hardly causes any fluff to
form and has been
established by research
institutes to have no
appreciable effect on the
lifetime of fabric.
Fluff is collected by the fluff
filters and can be easily
removed (see "Cleaning
and care").
The laundry is not
sufficiently dry.
The load consisted of
different fabric.
– Finish drying using the
Warm air programme.
– Select a more suitable
drying programme next
time* (see "Programme
chart").
Water leaks from the
tumble dryer after the
condenser unit has
been cleaned.
– The inner cover of the
condenser unit has not
been locked properly
and/or the condenser
unit has not been
positioned correctly.
– Fluff has collected in the
condenser unit housing.
– Ensure that the
condenser unit is
positioned correctly and
lock the inner cover.
– Check the rubber seals.
– Use a cloth to remove
any visible fluff from the
inside of the condenser
unit housing.
The interior drum
lighting does not
come on.
The lighting switches off
automatically (to save
energy).
Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
The light needs changing.
Change the light as
described at the end of this
section.
* You can alter the residual moisture levels for some programmes. See
"Programmable functions" at the end of this booklet.
