When to change the exhaust
filter
Always change the ACTIVE HEPA filter
when the exhaust filter indicator (Reset
button
7
) lights up. It is designed to
light up after approx. 50 hours of
operation which is equivalent to about a
year of average use. It should be
replaced sooner if it is obviously soiled
or no longer effective. The vacuum
cleaner can still be used with the
exhaust filter indicator lit up. However,
the suction power will be reduced as
will the effectiveness of the filter if it is
not replaced in good time.
You can replace the ACTIVE HEPA
exhaust filter supplied with the vacuum
cleaner with one of the other Miele
exhaust filters if you wish (see
"Replacing one type of filter with
another").
