Problem
Possible cause and solution
Serial printer fault: no paper
The printer has run out of paper.
Replenish the paper.
Serial printer fault: offline
The machine cannot connect to the printer.
Switch the printer on.
Check the connection between the machine and the
printer.
If in doubt, have the configuration of the interface
checked by a qualified person.
If the printer has been replaced, the printer type must be
adjusted in the interface configuration.
Serial printer fault: general
fault
The printer is not ready for operation.
Check the printer for fault messages.
Change the printer cartridge if necessary.
Network down
The communication module has identified a network inter-
ruption or cannot establish a connection.
Consult your network administrator.
