heat up.
The appliance is in
demonstration mode. You need to deactivate
the demonstration mode
(see "Programming").
The appliance switches
off during operation. A cooking zone might
have been operated for
too long. This doesn't indicate a
fault. You can continue
operation (see "Safety
switch-off").
The cooking zone
heating switches on and
off. Power settings 1 to 8:
no fault The "timing" of the
element is normal. It is
caused by the electronic
temperature control (see
"How the cooking zones
work").
Power setting 9:
The overheating
protection mechanism
has been activated. The overheating
protection mechanism
switches off the heating
element automatically
before the ceramic
surface overheats. Once
the ceramic surface has
cooled down to a safe
level, the heating will
automatically switch back
on again (see
"Overheating protection").
