Preparing the refrigeration ap-
pliance for cleaning

Switch the refrigeration appliance off.


Take any food out of the refrigeration
appliance and store it in a cool place.
 Remove the shelves and bottle shelf
from the door.
 Take out the freezer drawers and
glass plates.

Pull off the front strip with the rollers.

Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning.
Removing the water container

Risk to health due to contamin-
ated water.
Bacteria can develop in water which
has been sitting in the water con-
tainer or the water supply lines for
several days. This poses a risk to
your health.
Change the water in the water con-
tainer
every day .
You should also always empty and
refill it before switching on the ice
cube maker to ensure that the ice
cubes are made with fresh water.
If the water container has not been
used for more than 24 h, empty it
and clean it thoroughly before re-
filling.
You should also clean the water con-
tainer before switching off the appliance
or the ice cube maker for a long time.
Dry the water container carefully.
When cleaning the water container,
also ensure that the valve, the under-
side of the water container and the
surface the water container sits on in
the refrigerator are clean. Otherwise
the water container will not sit cor-
rectly.
