Writing on the appliance doors
(Blackboard edition)
The appliance doors are made from
safety glass with a satin finish which is
printed on the back. This surface allows
you to write on the appliance doors, for
example, to leave a note for other mem-
bers of the family.
Before writing on the glass front for the
first time, it is advisable to clean the en-
tire surface with a microfibre cloth suit-
able for glass and lukewarm water.
Then dry the surface with a soft cloth.

Only use the products recom-
mended to write on the glass front as
these can be removed easily.
Do not use ballpoint pens, coloured
or lead pencils, correction pencils,
wax crayons, oil chalks, felt tip pens
(such as permanent markers, marker
pens, whiteboard markers etc.).
We recommend the following products
for writing on the doors:
– liquid chalk pens,
such as an Edding 4095 chalk marker
(supplied as an accessory)
– traditional blackboard chalk


faces in optimum condition, please
observe the instructions given in
"Cleaning and care - Cleaning
agents and - Cleaning the front of
the appliance and the side panels".
