Basic settings

The oven must not be operated
until it has been correctly installed in
its housing unit.
The oven will switch on automatically
when it is connected to the electricity
supply.
Welcome screen
The greeting "Miele Willkommen" will
appear in the display and you will hear
the welcome melody.
You will then be requested to select
some basic settings which are needed
before the appliance can be used.

Follow the instructions in the display.
Set the language

Select the language you want and
touch "OK".
Select the country
^
Then select the country you want and
touch "OK".
Set the date
^
Swipe the screen in the "Day" field
until the current date appears.

Do the same thing for the "Month"
and "Year", to set the date.

Touch "OK".
The setting is now saved.
Set the time of day
^
Swipe the screen in the left-hand field
until the current hour appears.

Do the same thing for the minutes in
the right-hand field to set the time.
Alternatively you can set the time
using the numerical keypad
z
.

Touch "OK".
The setting is now saved.
The time of day can be displayed in
12 hour format (see "Settings - Time -
Clock format").
Before using for the first time
