Oven interior
The oven interior is coated with an
extremely smooth dark pyrolytic enamel
which facilitates cleaning.
Because of its non-stick properties
most debris can be easily removed with
a damp cloth. This should be done after
each use.
If the oven is not cleaned regularly, de-
bris may become extremely difficult to
remove even with the Self Clean pro-
gram.
Never use hard brushes, hard
sponges, wire wool pads, knives or
any other scourer. These may
damage the enamel.
Self Clean program
During Self Clean the oven is heated to
very high temperatures. Any residual
soiling is removed by the high tempera-
tures.
As soon as the Self Clean program
starts, the oven door will lock automati-
cally after 1 minute. The lock will only
release when the program has com-
pleted and the oven temperature has
fallen below 530°F/280°C.
The length of the Self Clean program
will depend on the level of soiling in the
oven.
Remove large pieces of debris and
any puddles of grease from the oven
interior before starting the Self Clean
program.
Remove all accessories including
the runners from the oven before
starting the cleaning program.
Do not touch the oven door during
the Self Clean program. The door
may become very hot.
Keep children away from the hot
oven.
