Dishes, cutlery and
glasses are not dry or
are flecked
The rinse aid amount may
be insufficient or the rinse
aid reservoir empty.
Increase the dosage or
replenish the reservoir,
see "Before using for the
first time".
Crockery was taken out of
the cabinet too soon.
Leave it in for longer, see
"Operating the dish-
washer".
White residue is visible
on cutlery and crockery,
clouding occurs on
glassware; film can be
wiped off
Not enough rinse aid was
used.
Increase the dosage, see
"Before using for the first
time".
There is no salt in the salt
reservoir.
Add dishwasher reactiva-
tion salt, see "Before using
for the first time".
The salt reservoir cap has
not been screwed on cor-
rectly.
Replace it making sure it
screws back on correctly.
Combination dishwasher
detergent tablets contain-
ing rinse aid and/or salt
may have been used.
These are unsuitable as
long term use can impair
the softener unit.
Use a standard liquid,
tablet or powder deter-

Smearing appears on
glassware and cutlery,

on the surface of glass-
ware; film can be wiped
off
