Drying heat
In all programmes the drying process is
assisted by the heating element. Drying
heat is set as activated at the factory.
The heating elements can be switched
off during drying if wished, in which
case the programme running time will
be reduced by approx. 2 minutes and
energy savings of approx. 0.1 kWh
electricity made.
The dishes are then dried with residual
heat. Open the dishwasher door at the
end of a programme to allow the dishes
to dry better.
Activation/Deactivation of drying
heat
Switch the appliance off with the
“On/Off” button.
Turn the programme selector to the
“Stop” position.
Press the “Start” button in and whilst
doing so at the same time switch the
dishwasher on using the “On/Off”
button. Release the “Start” button
again within two seconds.
The “Salt” indicator light will start flash-
ing.
Note:
If a different indicator light is on or flash-
ing, the process must be repeated.
Exception:
The “Rinse aid” indicator light will come
on if you have not yet added rinse aid or
if rinse aid needs replenishing.
Turn the programme selector to the
“Normal 55°” position.
– If the “Start” indicator light does not
come on:
Drying heat is switched on.
– If the “Start” indicator light comes on:
Drying heat is switched off.
Press the “Start” button to change
the setting.
Depending on the previous setting the
“Start” indicator light will either come
on or go out.
Turn the programme selector to the
“Stop” position.
Switch the appliance off with the
“On/Off” button.
The change is now stored in memory.
