The cooker hood works with

The air is drawn in and cleaned by the
grease filters and then directed outside.
If the on-site ventilation system does
not have a non-return flap, the
non-return flap
supplied must be
fitted.
This flap is closed when the cooker
hood is switched off. No exchange of
room and outside air can take place.

the non-return flap opens for the
cooking vapours to be blown directly
outside.

The air is drawn in and cleaned first by
grease filter and then cleaned by active
charcoal filters. The cleaned air is then
recirculated back into the kitchen
through vents in the top of the
appliance.
Before using the cooker hood in
recirculation mode, ensure that the
active charcoal filters are in place,
see section on "Cleaning and care".
