The flavour of the coffee produced depends on the type of
coffee, how finely the beans are ground and the quantity of
water used. Not all espresso and coffee cups are the same
size. To ensure the machine uses the right amount of water to
suit your taste and your cups, you can programme in the
amount to use.
The drinks selection symbols are designed for the following:
The Espresso symbol dispenses a standard size espresso to
be served in a standard espresso cup. The amount of water
for espresso can be set between
approx. 30 and 75 ml .
The Coffee symbol dispenses coffee for a standard size
coffee cup. The amount of water for coffee can be set
between
approx. 30 and 175 ml .
You can programme the amount in two ways, either by
touching the OK sensor continually or via the "Settings"
option.
Espresso and coffee for
all chambers and types of
coffee will be dispensed using the amounts programmed
regardless of which chamber or which type of coffee you
select for carrying out the programming the amount
procedure.
Programming the amount with the OK sensor

Place the appropriate cup for the amount you want to
programme under the coffee spout.

Use the drinks selection sensor to select the type of drink
(coffee or espresso) for which you want to set the water
quantity.

Touch the OK sensor until "Prog. the amount" appears in
the display.

As soon as the cup is filled to the level you want, touch the
OK sensor again to save the amount to memory.
