2. Tap AC Ammeter.
3. Select the Amp Clamp range.
4. Follow the onscreen directions to zero the Amp Clamp.
5. Place the clamp’s jaws around the negative (–) cable.
6. The tester displays the measurement.
7. Tap Back to return to the Digital Multimeter screen.
Ohmmeter
The meter is connected in parallel with the circuit
under test and uses the power supplied by the
analyzer’s internal batteries to detect open or
excessive resistance.
Always remove power from the circuit before
connecting the ohmmeter to avoid damaging
the analyzer.

1. Connect the DMM test lead to the analyzer’s accessories
port.
2. Tap Ohmmeter.
3. Connect the clamps or probes in the correct polarity: red
probe to positive (+); black to negative (–).
4. The meter will autorange and display the measurement.
5. When finished, press
END
.
6. Tap Back to return to the Digital Multimeter screen.
Diode Drop
The diode test measures the voltage drop across
components, such as diodes.

1. Connect the probes test lead to the tester’s accessories
port.
2. Tap Diode Drop.
3. Connect the probes in the correct polarity: red probe to
positive (+); black to negative (–).
4. The meter will autorange and display the measurement.

The Volts/Amp meter simultaneously measures
charging voltage and charging current.
