XL8 Control Surface

Ø/PHASE phase reverse switch reverses phase
of left or right monitor signals, selected using the
LEFT and RIGHT switches below. On control surface,
each has an integral LED that illuminates to show that
switch is on.

RIGHT switch routes right-hand monitor signal
to both left and right monitor speaker outputs. Each
has an integral LED that illuminates to show that
switch enabled.

LEFT switch routes left-hand monitor signal to
both left and right monitor speaker outputs. Each has
an integral LED that illuminates to show that switch
enabled.

MONO switch sum left and right signals with
4.5dB loss. Each has an integral LED that illuminates
to show that switch enabled.

ST switch routes post-fader stereo master mix to
stereo local monitor outputs.

MON switch routes post-fader mono masters mix
to stereo local monitor outputs. Each has an integral
LED that illuminates to show that switch enabled.

EXT switch routes stereo external input
(two-track return etc.) to stereo local monitor outputs.
Each has an integral LED that illuminates to show that
switch enabled.

A and B switches sum the talk back signals to the
solo bus. Each has an integral LED that illuminates to
show that switch is on. The
talk mic section (see
“talk mic” on page 107) has a level control knob that
is shared between the two monitor paths.

a/b speaker section has a C/O switch (control
surface only) that switches between the A and B sets
of speakers. Integral LED illuminates to show that
switch is on.
