Rear panel connections
Item Description
1 AES50 audio - bank 0 and AES50 audio - bank 1 : digital input
EtherCon® XLR sockets (10-off each per bank) for connection to DSP units,
I/O unit and mic splitter. Passes audio data between units. See Figure 1 on
page 12 for standard connections.
2 Ethernet control digital input EtherCon® XLR sockets (10-off) for
connection to DSP units. Passes control data between units.
3 Ethernet tunnel EtherCon XLR sockets. external 1 is for connection of
third party devices and external 2 is for connecting the two routers
together.
4 A and B EtherCon® XLR sockets ( control expansion section) for
additional Midas/Klark Teknik devices.
5 Ethernet EtherCon® XLR socket ( control expansion section) for
router/router interconnection.
6 snake/CAT6e EtherCon® XLR socket for connection to the control
console’s internal 8-port router using Cat6e cable.
7 snake/optical OpticalCon® socket for connection to the control console’s
internal 8-port router using optical cable.
8 AES3 sync input and output XLR sockets for connection of external
synchronisation.
