On the Flatbed
This section shows you how to position a single-sheet document, such as a single
photograph or a page from a book, on the flatbed:
1. Raise the scanner lid, and place the document to be scanned face down on
the scanner glass surface.
2. Place the top end of the document towards the back
of the scanner, then
lower the scanner lid on the scanner glass surface.
When scanning, the Rear Glass
Surface should be kept clear and
free of obstruction at all times.
With the document face down on
the scanning glass, align the
document against the top edge of
Front Glass Surface of the scanner.
