8.12. Test tone

This Tab allows to enable test tone generation in APRS Voyager. When test tone is

enabled, device will not send and receive any packets. Alternatively it will send a
constant test pattern with 50% duty cycle in 20 seconds interval (10 seconds on, 10

seconds off).

•

„Test tone enable”

- enables or disables test tone generation,

•

„Test tone pattern”

- sends test tone according to selection: 1200 Hz tone,

2200Hz tone, 1200/2200Hz tones changing every bit (every 1/1200 seconds), or
carrier only with no tones at all.
