8.1.

 

Determining System Loss Budget For Chaining Multiple Switches 

 

 

The MR380-1 controllers have the capacity to chain multiple switches in series permitting that the 

additional losses fall within the system optical loss budget. 

Figure 17

 illustrates a system using 

three MR387-2 switches in series. 

 

 

 

 

 

For more information on System Loss Budget, please refer to Application Note AN118.
