Electrical Connections MR380-2 Controller
The contact on the controller module uses a Phoenix Contact screw terminal. For more
information, consult Controller specifications given in Section 6.3. If connectors are lost or
damaged, contact Micronor Sales for replacement details.
3.5.2.
System Start-Up & Performance Check
C24VDC supply and ground to the designated terminals on the controller module.
Verify that the ‘Power’ LED (green) is illuminated. If the Microswitch is not connected, then
the ‘Status’ LED (red) should be OFF, i.e. there is no optical continuity.
The status of the ‘Status’ LED (red) depends on whether the Microswitch used is a Normally
Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) configuration. The choice of optical configuration
depends on the application. The default monitoring state should correspond to when the
optical circuit is closed. The ‘Status’ Red LED will be illuminated when the optical circuit is
closed - either when a NO switch is depressed or a NC switch is not depressed.
