Alarms Chapter
Shallow Water Alarm
Sets the depth at which the display will signal the alarm.
The options are:
Off
and 0.5 to 25.0 feet (0.1 to 7.6 metres) (0.1
to 4.1 fathoms).
Values are displayed in the current units (see page 21)
Speed Chapter
Speed Response
Sets the update period of the Speed display.
The options are:
Auto (Automatic),
SLO (Slow), mED (Medium),
FASt (Fast).
Speed Calibration
A percentage factor that corrects the information from the
paddlewheel.
See page 29 for the calibration procedure.
Speed Display Format
Sets the number of decimal places to which the boat speed
information is displayed.
The options are
0.1
or 0.01.
Speed Trim Range
Sets the full scale display value of the speed trim bar graph.
The value can be set from 25 to 100 percent.
A value of 25% indicates that, at full screen, the boat speed is +/-
25% of the locked speed.
Tack to Tack correction
A value that corrects the speed displayed when the boat is on
starboard tack, to take account of inherent differences of the
measured speed on opposite tacks, e.g caused by off-centre
installation of the transducer
Sea Temperature Calibration
A value that corrects the information from the temperature sensor
The live water temperature is shown in the top pane and the
applied correction value (m/- 10 degrees) in the
bottom pane.
