1.5 APPLICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE
The DTMF generation and detection libraries can be used for developing various
applications, such as answering machines, public and private telephone exchanges,
telephony and line test equipment, remote control of computer, and telephone
equipment. Table 1-4 provides the size of the Data Memory, Program Memory, and
MIPS required to support the dsPIC DSC DTMF Detection Library.
