If you push the tab cock wholly upward the hot drink will run all the time until the tab
cock will be pushed downward again.
Switch of the unit
After each use turn the 3 level switch into position „Aus/Off“. For safety reason
unplug
after each use
.
Let the unit cool down.
Empty the unit and clean it as described in chapter „Cleaning and maintenance“.
Overheating protection
Possible damage by overheating can be avoided by automatic cut off caused by the
overheating protection. When the overheating protection has switched off the unit, and you
cannot switch on by turning the 3 level switch, please follow the instructions below:
First switch off (turn the 3 level switch into position „Aus/Off“) and unplug.
Let the unit cool down completely and empty the tank.
Then push the „Reset“ button in the bottom of the unit. Now you can use the unit as
usual.
Caution! For safety reason unplug after each use!
Recipes
Mulled wine
(classic style)
Ingredients: ½ l commercial mulled wine (according to quantity requirements, 5 l filling
quantity max.), 5 cloves, 1-2 oranges cut into slices, 1-2 cinnamon sticks, rum aroma, a
shot of amaretto (optionally).
Heat up the mulled wine together with the spices in a big pot and boil up for some
seconds. Add rum aroma and amaretto and let it brew for a short while.
Then fill the mulled wine through a sieve into the hot drink dispenser. Use liquids
without any solids (like spices or pieces of orange) in the hot drink dispenser only.
Soft drink winter punch
(best for children)
Ingredients: ½ l fruit tea (according to quantity requirements, 5 l filling quantity max.), 1 l
apple juice, ½ l orange juice, 2 oranges, 1 vanilla bean, or 1 package of vanilla sugar, 2
cinnamon sticks, 2 TS honey (optionally sugar), 1 apple (cut into small pieces), little lemon
juice.
Heat up the fruit tea in a big pot.
Add apple and orange juice. Grate the peel of the orange and add also. You can
squeeze the orange juice or cut the whole orange into slices and add also.
Add vanilla bean (or vanilla sugar), cinnamon sticks and honey (or sugar) and stir all.
Then add the pieces of apple.
Heat up the mixture.
Then fill it through a sieve into the hot drink dispenser. Use liquids without any solids
(like spices or pieces of orange) in the hot drink dispenser only.
Advent punch
(very easy)
Ingredients: ½ l red wine (according to quantity requirements, 5 l filling quantity max.), 3-5
TS raisins, 2-4 TS chopped almonds, 4 cloves, 2-5 TS sugar (optionally honey), little lemon
juice.
Fill the red wine together with raisins and almonds and the other spices into a big pot.
