Remove the locker notch from the guide of the handle by turning the lid counter
clockwise. Then remove the lid.

Fill in the prepared drinks (find recipes for hot drinks on page 15). Never fill more than
MAX mark and always fill 0,5 litres minimum to avoid boiling over or overheating.

Close the lid again and turn it clockwise till it is engaged in the locker notches at the
handles.
Bringing drinks to boil
Caution! Danger of burning and scalding! Never operate the unit unattended! The
unit gets very hot during operation! Take care that nobody can touch the hot body.
There is danger of serious burning!

Plug in.

Turn the 3 level switch to „Kochen/Boil“.

The control lamp „An/On“ shows that the unit is operating.

The control lamp „Kochen/Boil“ shows that the unit is heating up. As soon as the drink
is boiling, the control lamp switches off.
Reboiling

If you like to reboil the drink just press the button „Aufkochen/Reboil“.
Note: Please note that the 3 level switch has to be in position „Kochen/Boil“. After
the boiling process the unit will stop heating.
If you want to keep warm, turn the 3 level switch into position „Warm halten/Keep warm“,
otherwise the drink will cool down.
Keep warm

If the drink has been boiled once it is enough to keep it warm. Turn the 3 level switch
to position „Warm halten/Keep warm“. The control lamp „An/On“ shows that the
appliance is operating.
Pouring hot drinks
Caution! When removing the lid hot steam or hot water can exhaust. Be watchful
while pouring the hot drink! There is danger of serious burning by hot splashes!
Pour the hot drink through the tab only!

Put a drinking vessel under the tab and push the tab cock upward.

The tab cock is spring-weighed. If you push slightly upward only, the tab cock will be
closed again if being released.
