Maintenance
The following list of annual mainte-
nance work gives you a guide for car-
rying out the maintenance work. It
does not outline the actual scope of
the necessary work which can only be
ascertained by an inspection of the
vehicle.
!
Attention:
The vehicle driver is responsible for
the correct functioning and safe
condition of the vehicle when driv-
ing on public highways.
An incorrect or neglected cleaning
and maintenance results in a limita-
tion of the product liability.
!
Attention:
Always switch off the operating
module and switch the drive mo-
tors into the drive mode before
carrying out maintenance work,
modifi cation and adjustments on
the wheelchair!
– Danger of accident resulting
from inadvertent movement of the
wheelchair.
•
The main fuse must additionally
be removed when working on the
electrical system!
Inspection
For safety reasons and to prevent ac-
cidents which can result from wear
not detected in good time, an annual
inspection is necessary in the case of
normal operating conditions. This is
to be carried out in accordance with
the service manual.
Have this work carried out by a spe-
cialist workshop in order to ensure
that the
ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR
of-
fers the highest level of safety and re-
liability. The employees of the work-
shop are familiar with the technology
of the vehicle and have suitable tools.
They can identify the start of wear in
good time and use only original spare
parts.
☞
Note:
Shorter intervals for brakes and
chassis checks are recommended in
the case of severe operating con-
ditions, e.g. daily driving on up-
hill/downhill gradients or use by a
nursing service – with frequently
changing wheelchair users.
