Mounting
Check the condition of the eccentric bushing,
key and eccentric shaft. Clean if necessary.
Place the key in the groove of the desired
stroke in the eccentric bushing and lower the
bushing in its place. The bushing must slide in,
do not hit it. The stroke lengths are marked on
the top of the eccentric bushing above every
groove.
Secure the eccentric bushing with the screw
(M10). Lock the bolt with locking compound,
e.g. Loctite 270. Note ! The head of the screw
must be fully inside the eccentric bushing.
Fix the adjustable counterweight to the right
position corresponding the stroke (figure
9.5.3). Lift the slipring on to its place. Secure
that the hole at the slipring and the guide pin
at the lower match each other. Secure the
fastenings bolts with locking compound (e.g.
Locktite 242). Mount the wear cover.
Check the clearance between the eccentric
shaft and the upper eccentric thrust bearing at
the slip ring (figure 9.5.4). The clearance must
be 0.5-0.6 mm (0.020"-0.024"). Adjust
clearance by adding or removing shims
between the bearing and slip ring.
Make sure, that the intermediate plate of the
thrust bearing has not moved from its location,
when removing the main shaft out of the
crusher. See chapter 8.4.
Before installing the main shaft, slide the
intermediate plate (steel) on the bearing plate
(bronze) to the eccentric side, to allow the
thrust bearing to settle as well as possible.
Lubricate the main shaft and eccentric bushing
well with the lubricating oil used in the
crusher.
Lift the main shaft carefully into the crusher.
Note, that the hole of the eccentric bushing is
inclined, Be careful not to damage the bushing
surfaces. Also, be careful not to damage the
dust seal ring (figure 9.5.5), when it slides
around the slip ring.
Inspect the top bearing seal and replace if
necessary. See the chapter 9.2.
Install the upper and intermediate frames
together according to the chapter 8.5.
After tightening
After 25 operating hours, tighten the mounting
bolts between the lower and intermediate
frame (20 pcs) M3 6/keyhole 55 mm,
tightening torque 2314 Nm (236 kpm / 1710 ft
lbs) and the bolts between the intermediate and
upper frame (10 pcs) M36.
