Traceroute

Traceroute utility

is used to determine data transmission routes in TCP/IP

networks. The utility sends sequence of datagrams to a specified network host,
and registers data about all intermediate routers that sent datagrams passed
through during transmission. Thus, Traceroute utility allows the diagnostics
of all intermediate network equipment on a data transmission path.
