CONNECTING THE RECEIVER TO THE DESTINATION TV:
Caution
:
all the connections must be done with the switches on the OFF position.
Switch the source device and the transmitter ON, the red LED must light.
Connect the RCA to SCART adapter to the destination TV, switch it on and put it in AV mode (see the user manual if
necessary). If you have multiple scart inputs, ensure that you have selected the correct AV eg AV1, AV2 etc. Make
sure the colour coded RCA cables are correctly plugged in to the receiver. Switch on the receiver. The red LED should
light.
You should now see the source on the destination TV. If not, recheck all the connections. If the picture is not clear try
and find a different location for the receiver and the transmitter that leads to the best picture.

Check the label on the
Scart connector
• The source device is switched OFF, switch it ON
• The Scart adapters are inverted, check the labels and ensure they are connected to
the correct devices.
• Put the TV in AV mode (key EXT, 0/AV, AUX,…).
• Check that the LED on the transmitter is illuminated. In case of multi scart TV,
check that you selected the right AV input.
• Check the position of the infrared mouse
• The transmission range of remote extender is a little bit shorter than the range for
the video. Check if it's better when you move the receiver closer to the transmitter.
• Try and change the transmission channel, be sure that the channel on receiver is
the same as the channel on transmitter.

The remote extender makes it possible to control the source device from
the distant room. For example, if you bring the remote control of your
satellite box into your bedroom, you can change channel on the satellite
box located in your living room by aiming a suitable remote control at the
receiver.
The infrared (IR) mouse must be positioned so that it "shines" at the IR
receiver located on the front panel of the source device. In many cases,
the user manual of the device, or its front panel itself, shows where the
sensor is.
