Turn off power and unplug the instrument from
AC power. Open the side cover.

Remove the AC power plug from the AC power
block of the instrument.

Use a tool (such as an Allen wrench) to pull the
housing open.

There is a small slot where the tool can be inserted
to pry the door gently open.
