838 Advanced Sample Processor

3.3.9 Tubing

connections

Pump tubing is consumable material whose service life depends on

the contact pressure. You should thus fully raise the tubing cartridges

by releasing the snap-action lever

at the right-hand side if the

pump is to be switched off for a long time (this will maintain the set op-

timum contact pressure).

The 6.1826.0X0 pump tubing consists of PVC or PP and may thus not

be used for rinsing with solutions containing acetone . In such cases,

please use different pump tubing or use a different pump for rinsing.
