4.2.2.1 State
The State configuration Item defines the Adminstrative state of the port. The port may be
either
UP
Port Enabled
Down
Port Disabled
4.2.2.2 Link Status
The Link Status shows the current operating status of the link,
UP
Link operating Normally
DOWN
Link Down
4.2.2.3 SFPx Type
The WCM5100 has a pair of SDH interfaces utilizing SFP modules. The SFP type display
indicates the type of SFP fitted. This display is read from the module directly.
Further information regarding the SFP may be displayed using the SFP info menu.
4.2.2.4 Active SFP
The active SFP selects which of the ports A or B is currently active.
4.2.2.5 Fallback Timeout
When two SFP modules are fitted, and 1+1 APS is in use, this configuration item defines
the timeout used before a link will be considered to be stable after switching. The timeout
prevents link flapping when a port immediately switches back due to detecting a framing
error or other such alarm.
4.2.2.6 Framing
The WCM5100 currenly only offers SDH, STM-1 operating mode.
