11 Maintenance

Unauthorized persons are not allowed to open the EurotestXD instrument. There are no user
replaceable components inside the instrument, except the battery and fuses under back cover.

Fuse replacement

There are three fuses under back cover of the EurotestXD instrument.

F1

M 0.315 A / 250 V, 20



5 mm

This fuse protects internal circuitry for continuity functions if test probes are connected
to the mains supply voltage by mistake during measurement.

F 5 A / 500 V, 32



6.3 mm (breaking capacity: 50 kA)
