20    Notification Appliances—CH Series Chimes and Strobe Chimes

Connect the signaling device to the backbox using the lock washer (provided in the
hardware bag) under the head of each mounting screw.

Refer to Figures 8 and 11 when wiring chimes only.

Refer to Figures 9 and 12 when wiring the device to operate the chime signal and strobe
independently.  Johnson Controls recommends this method for coded systems where the
chime is set on Single Stroke (SS) and is cycled on and off while the strobe flashes
continuously.
