3. Setup and Operation
a. Probe Settings
The probe selection switches are located on the top left corner of the main board as illustrated in
Figure 5 below. These switches are used to set the ER probe type. They also allow the instrument to
be placed into several test modes which output fixed values, allowing verification of the output signal.
Table 2 gives the switch settings for each probe type and the various test modes.
