8. Apply heat gently while moving the Heat Gun up,
down, left and right.

the outbreak of smoke or fi re.
9. Check the tool for damage, cracks or malformation in
the event of it being accidently dropped or subject to
impact.

10. Cease operations immediately in the event of the
tool not operating properly or if abnormal noises
or vibrations are noticed, and contact metabo HPT
Authorized Service Center to request inspections and
repairs.

11. Do not get away from the unit while it is switched on.
Always return the switch to the OFF ( ○ ) position when
you are fi nished working.

a) Hidden areas such as behind walls, ceilings, fl oors,
so ffi t boards and other panels may contain fl ammable
materials that could be ignited by the heat gun when
working in these locations. The ignition of these
materials may not be readily apparent and could
result in property damage and injury to persons.
When working in these locations, keep the heat gun
moving in a back-and-forth motion.
Lingering or pausing in one spot could ignite the panel or
the material behind it.

• Don't put hands on the air inlet or block the air
ventilation in any way.
• During usage, nozzle and other accessory will be
extremely high temperature, which can be touch
after completely cool down.

e) If battery damaged or doesn't follow usage

steam. Working area must ensure the air
ventilation, if any uncomfortable then go
to hospital for medical treatment as the
steam from the battery could stimulate the
aspiratory tract.
f) Recharge only with the charger speci fi ed by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery pack may create a risk of fi re
when used with another battery pack.
g) Use power tools only with speci fi cally
designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury, overload
and fi re.
h) With sharp edges or tips object as nails or
screw driver could damage the battery, which
may cause inner short circuit, fl ame, smoke,
explode or extreme heat.
i) Do not incinerate this heat gun even if it is
severely damaged. The batteries can explode
in a fi re.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
quali fi ed repair person using only identical
replacement parts.
