In this page it is possible to check the status of I/Os and to override outputs (Manual Mode).
I/O Reading
Analog Inputs (F00x)
In the row Base addr. F00x are reported the values of the analog inputs in 1/100 of ºC
The value
32767
means that the analog input is not connected or there is a reading error.
Analog outputs (F02x)
In the row Base addr. F02x are reported the values of the analog output in mV.
Digital Inputs (F05 and F06)
In the row Base addr. F05x and F06x are reported the status of the digital inputs.
Digital Outputs (F08x)
In the row Base addr. F08x are reported the status of the digital outputs.
The I/O values are not updated automatically, it is required to press the button
Update Variables
to refresh the page.
Output override in manual mode (F0F0 ···
TRUE)
It is possible to override the status and values of the Outputs by following this procedure.
The first step is to set the device in
Manual Mode
.
In the Manual Mode the device ignores any further activations received by the main controller (mBox).
The Manual Mode is set by overriding
TRUE
in the address
F0F0
(that should originally set to “FALSE”).
Once completed the testing, the Manual Mode must be stopped by setting the filed F0F0 back to “FALSE”. This is not done automatically.
Once the Manual Mode is stopped, the overridden outputs will remain to the present status until a new activation from the controller.
To override a new value in the table, in the area “Change Variables” put the correspondent address in the field

and the new value in the

In the table
I/O Addresses
are listed all the addresses related to each variable for both mZone 8 and 12.
The Manual Mode automates and simplifies the commissioning of the system. mZone allows the installer to override outputs for the
purpose of testing during the initial commissioning of the system.
Analog Outputs override (F02x)
Set the value in mV. For example, in case a 2-10V mixing valve is attached to the AO1 (address F020) override the address F020 to 2000 to set
close the mixing valve. Override the address F020 to 10000 to open the valve 100%, 6000 will open the valve 50%.
Digital Outputs override (F08x)
Set to “TRUE” or “FALSE” the value of the digital output. For example, in a mZone 8 the address F080 corresponds to the 24Vdc powered digital
output DO1 (associated to the thermal actuator of the zone #1). Overriding the value to “TRUE” will activate the 24Vdc contact of the zone #1 (the
thermal actuator of zone #1 will open up). Set the value “FALSE” in the field F088 (DO8, zone #8 or D08 PWR 110V for the manifold pump) will
close the thermal actuator of zone #8 or will stop the pump (depending of the usage of the DO8).
