The

advanced

page is used mainly for two purposes:

1. On the developer side, to debug an application;

2. On a final user side, to synchronizer the internal clock of the programmable controller with the clock of the connected pc.

Disable watchdog for this session

This is used ONLY for debug purposes. A developer may need to disable the watchdog in order to perform a debug

on the application placing some break points. In any other cases, this button should never be clicked. In order to

restore the disabled watchdog condition it is necessary to perform a reboot of the programmable controller.

Reboot the machine

This button perform a soft reboot for the operative system and for the controller. It is used mainly to enable back

the watchdog functionality or when a reboot is needed.

Generate debug report

Generate debug report: this button generates a debug report that can be requested by Messana Radiant Cooling in
order to solve some issues. Any information contained in this file needs a Dixell technician in order to be completely

understood.

Syncronize clock

This button will perform synchronization between the pc connected to the control panel and the programmable

controller. After the synchronization the programmable controller will perform a soft reboot.

Get Machine ID

Will generate a file named Machine ID. This file is used when a BACnet license is needed on the programmable con-

troller but it is not active yet.

On the programmable controllers where the BACnet license is active, before the buttons it is possible to check

the Dixell BACnet status, with a line like the following one:

Available licenses: BACNet IP, BACNet MSTP

In this case both BACnet licenses (MSTP and TCP/IP) are enabled on this programmable controller by Dixell.
